Bio

Omotayo Ambali is a Lagos-based visual artist and University of Lagos graduate. Working in acrylic, pastel, and charcoal, his practice centers on the human figure, capturing vulnerability and movement. Ambali’s work critically engages with the African experience, drawing from dreams, folklore, and proverbs. Known for his vivid colors and refined palette knife technique, he creates richly textured compositions that explore cultural identity.
