Ololade Lawal is a Lagos-based visual artist working across abstract painting, photography, installation, new media and artistic research. Her work explores family, living systems and roles of architecture in domestic histories, drawing from personal experience, urban life.

Lawal holds a diploma in Mass Communication from Yaba College of Technology. She has exhibited in Nigeria and internationally, held her first solo show in 2023, and was featured in the Ake Review that same year.

Lawal is a G.A.S Foundation Imora art Fellow and an alumna of the Kuta Arts Residency.
