Born in Abidjan in the 1980s, Ibn Cheickh Sallah Diebkilé is a young Ivorian French artist who decided to move towards painting old century and multicultural reality by combining ancestral influences and modern techniques.
Between 2020 and 2022, he exhibited in Paris (Atelier du Monde, Magnanimous, Galerie Beauty of Matin Calme, Village Suisse), then in Abidjan (Villa Lepic and Loui Simone Gairanod Gallery). He managed to establish himself in african art as the revelation of the year - in addition to being the only Ivorian artist selected - at the Art Shopping fair which was held at the Carrousel du Louvre at the end of 2022.
By 2023, his works had attracted considerable attention worldwide. He was invited to East Asia to exhibit at the International Contemporary Art Exhibition in Tokyo (Japan) and Seoul (South Korea). He is also supported by the Francophonie and the Ivorian Ministry of Culture and received by the First Lady.
Coming straight from COP28 at Expo City in Dubai Mr Ibn Cheickh Sallah Diebkilé, will be exhibiting his latest series of works.
